What I Do
Hi, I’m Alanna — an illustrator and surface designer. I create colorful, story-rich patterns and illustrations for licensing, collaborations, and select custom projects.

​Backstory
Before the patterns came words and images — first, a degree in English, then one in graphic design. Together, they set the stage for the work I do today. After years in the corporate world (where I honed my project management skills and my coffee tolerance), I traded the cubicle for freelancing. Since then, I’ve worked on everything from billboards to wine labels — basically, if it can be printed, I’ve probably designed it.

• Art should feel like a door to somewhere you’ve never been, but somehow remember
• Coffee tastes better on rainy days
• A home isn’t complete without enough plants to qualify as a small-scale jungle
•If you linger on one of my patterns, you might discover something hidden
